Your options depend on the shipping method selected at checkout:
FedEx Shipping
If your order shipped via FedEx, an address correction may be possible only if the package is still in transit.
Important: FedEx typically charges an address correction fee of $30.
To request a FedEx address correction, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the correct shipping address. Timing matters.
Standard Shipping (USA only)
Our Standard Shipping for U.S. deliveries uses a two-step process: orders leave our office in Ecuador in bulk, then are entered into the USPS mail stream for final delivery. (More details on how standard shipping works.)
Tracking shows “USPS Awaiting Item.” Doesn’t that mean it hasn’t shipped yet?
Standard Shipping tracking is connected to USPS, but these shipments first travel internationally before entering the USPS mail system. If you received a shipping confirmation email from us, your order has already left our office in Ecuador and is in transit to the United States. USPS tracking will update once the shipment reaches the U.S. facility and is scanned into their system.
Good to know: When USPS shows “Pre-Shipment – Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item,” it simply means the package has not yet been scanned into the USPS network. It does not mean the package is still in our office.
Can the address be changed after it has shipped?
No. Once an Economy Shipping order has entered the shipping process, we are not able to modify the address or redirect the package in transit.
What can I do now?
If possible, retrieving the package from the original address (or asking someone there to forward it to you) is usually the fastest solution.
What if it gets marked "Return to Sender"?
If a Standard Shipping package is marked “Return to Sender,” it is routed back to our U.S. mail processing partner. It does not return directly to us in Ecuador. Once it is received at their facility, we can ask them to trace the package. Recovery is not guaranteed, and re-shipment is only possible if they are able to locate and release it back into the mail stream. Any re-shipment would also require additional postage.
Important: Return to Sender packages are routed to the U.S. processing partner - they do not return to Ministry Ideaz in Ecuador.
If your tracking shows "Return to Sender" (or anything similar), please contact us with your order number so we can guide you through next steps.
